Electronic Arts is hiring a Data Engineer II for its Central Technology Data & Insights (D&I) team in Hyderabad. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Data Engineering, this role focuses on building, scaling, and sustaining performant data engineering pipelines. You will develop and optimize production data workflows to ensure accurate, comprehensive datasets that drive personalization, game analytics, and studio-wide decision-making.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or an associated quantitative discipline.
• 3+ years of relevant industry experience operating in a technical data engineering capacity.
• Proficiency in writing and analyzing complex SQL scripts, production-grade Python, or any 4GL.
• Strong architectural experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) alongside infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on experience developing within cloud data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
• Experience with distributed data processing frameworks and schedulers, specifically Apache Spark, Airflow, Flink, Beam, or Trino.
• Experience handling real-time and streaming data technologies including Kafka, Kinesis, or Spark Streaming.
• Active experience executing version control mechanics and automated CI/CD deployment workflows via Git.
• Familiarity with data quality checks, data governance guidelines, data observability frameworks, and dashboard design using business intelligence tools like Looker, Tableau, or Power BI.
